Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing primary care practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring efficient front office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience with Epic EMR and insurance verification is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and general inquiries. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and eligibility prior to appointments. Obtain and scan insurance cards, identification, and required documentation. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances. Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR). Manage incoming faxes, emails, and patient messages. Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Handle referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests as assigned. Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Perform other administrative duties as needed to support clinic operations. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service or medical office experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and basic office equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Preferred Experience using Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Experience verifying commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance eligibility and benefits. Previous experience working in a primary care, urgent care, or outpatient medical office. Familiarity with medical terminology. Experience obtaining prior authorizations and referrals. Pay:
