Receptionist The Avenue at Westshore Holland, MI Job Details Full-time 3 days ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description At Avenue at Westshore, we're more than a nursing home. We're passionate about helping our residents we serve by delivering the highest quality care possible. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our team as a Receptionist . As the first point of contact for our facility, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy helping others and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we encourage you to apply. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience or training in long-term care (preferred) Positive attitude and professional demeanor Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple phone lines and multitask effectively Key Responsibilities Screen and route telephone calls to appropriate individuals or departments Answer questions promptly, courteously, and accurately Route deliveries and relay information to staff as needed Maintain accurate resident census and updated contact lists Operate facility paging and telephone systems Receive, sort, and distribute mail Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively Direct residents and visitors to appropriate individuals Investigate and route complaints appropriately Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and teamwork Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the facility Use of hands and arms for typing and phone operation Occasional lifting of office supplies or documents Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment May be exposed to emotionally stressful situations or behavioral challenges Apply today and become a valued part of a team that welcomes every person with care, kindness, and professionalism.
