Multiple School-Based Health Sites throughout Muskegon County Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, integrated healthcare services to the residents of Muskegon County and surrounding communities. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused School-Based Health Receptionist Float to support our School-Based Health Program by providing exceptional front office and administrative support at multiple school locations throughout the county. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries. Register patients and accurately collect demographic and insurance information. Verify and update insurance information. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments. Obtain and document required consents and registration paperwork. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist with outreach efforts to help fill provider schedules and improve patient access to care. Travel to multiple school-based health centers throughout Muskegon County as needed. Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. One to two years of experience working with school-aged children preferred. Medical office, patient registration, or healthcare customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between school locations.
