We are searching for someone who enjoys providing top-notch client service and has great communication skills! The ability to multi-task and think on your feet is a priority. This is NOT your typical office job, you will be handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages in all types of weather! The ideal candidate will have a least a year of customer service experience or related position. Applicants with animal industry experience will be given first consideration, but being a dog lover is a must! This position is full time and open availability is required. The main responsibilities for this position: Greeting clients and their dogs Answering phone calls, emails, faxes etc Maintaining client records Scheduling appointments through our software for Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, Training and Aquatics Checking in/out dogs Provide excellent client care and build trustworthy relationships Maintaining a clean and organized front lobby and desk area Communicating with techs in each department This is an ACTIVE role where you will be interacting with all types of dogs, walking them to their assigned buildings, carrying up to 50lbs of dogs personal items etc. We have 4 buildings on our main property and operate year round during rain and snow! The position starts at $14 an hour, negotiable with related animal industry experience. After three months, you are eligible for tips which range from $2-3 extra an hour!
