Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first and last point of contact for pet owners and provide exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy veterinary practice. This role requires strong communication/interpersonal skills, solid computer skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date. Process payments and manage billing inquiries. Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed. Provide information on pet health care products and services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area. Requirements Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology is preferred.. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. MUST be extremely proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
