Responsibilities:
Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answer multiple phone lines while providing exceptional customer service Schedule appointments efficiently and appropriately Check patients in and out Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Maintain accurate electronic medical records Communicate effectively with veterinarians and technicians Educate clients on wellness care, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention, and other hospital services Handle emergency calls calmly and direct clients appropriately Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Assist with administrative projects as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of receptionist experience required Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to remain calm during emergencies Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and preventive medicine Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
