Veterinary Receptionist Crossroads Community Veterinary Clinic Monday-Thursday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Full-Time Do you believe every pet deserves access to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care? Crossroads Community Veterinary Clinic is a growing nonprofit veterinary practice dedicated to making veterinary care accessible and affordable while emphasizing prevention, wellness, and client education. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our collaborative team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional client experience while supporting our multi-doctor practice with professionalism, efficiency, and empathy. Responsibilities Greet clients and patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism. Schedule appointments and manage multiple doctor schedules efficiently. Answer a high volume of phone calls and respond to client inquiries. Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate medical and client information. Process invoices, collect payments, and explain estimates and treatment plans. Complete daily financial reconciliation and end-of-day balancing. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and medical staff. Support workflow to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day. Assist with administrative projects and general front office responsibilities. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience required. Experience with veterinary practice management software preferred. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable handling sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism. Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy. Team-oriented with a positive, solutions-focused attitude. What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Has a minimum of 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience Is passionate about serving both pets and the people who love them. Thrives in a collaborative, team-centered environment. Takes pride in creating an outstanding client experience. Values affordable, accessible veterinary medicine and preventative care. Enjoys building relationships with clients and helping them navigate their pets' healthcare needs. Schedule Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Hourly wage $18•$20 per hour,
