Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Receptionist/Service Cashier to join our team. This hybrid role serves as the first point of contact for our guests while also supporting our busy Service Department by processing customer payments and assisting with cashiering duties. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently balance customer service with administrative responsibilities.
Schedule:
Part-Time; Mondays (4:45 PM - 8PM), Fridays (2:00 PM-8:00 PM) and Saturdays (8:00 AM-4:00 PM) Key Responsibilities As the face of Inver Grove Toyota, you will help create a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors or contacts our dealership.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting customers with a warm, professional attitude and directing them to the appropriate department (Sales, Service, or Parts). Answering and directing incoming multi-line phone calls efficiently and professionally. Processing payments for service repairs accurately using dealership systems and maintaining accurate transaction records. Assisting Service Advisors by completing cashiering functions and ensuring customers have a smooth checkout experience. Balancing the cash drawer and following dealership cash-handling procedures. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk, guest lounge, and cashier area. Assisting with basic administrative duties including data entry, filing, scanning, mail distribution, and other clerical tasks as needed. Providing exceptional customer service while answering general questions and helping resolve customer concerns professionally. Qualifications A positive, friendly attitude with a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and a professional phone presence. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable handling cash, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. Basic computer proficiency; dealership software experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while contributing as part of a team. Previous receptionist, cashier, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
