Job Description
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and community partners, helping create a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment within the mental health clinic. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, greeting clients, and providing administrative support to clinicians and staff. The Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, compassion, and customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. They must be comfortable handling sensitive information, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrating empathy when interacting with clients experiencing mental health challenges. Key duties include coordinating appointments, assisting with client check-in and intake procedures, maintaining accurate records, verifying insurance information, processing payments, responding to inquiries, and supporting the daily administrative needs of the clinic. Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, proficiency with office technology, and a commitment to providing exceptional service while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
