Job Description

We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our fast-paced, teamwork-oriented Maple Grove Office! This position is full time. Pay ranges from $17
  • 20 based on experience.
In this role, you will be on the front line of assisting patients and managing appointments. You will be responsible for warmly greeting patients, scheduling appointments for various locations and programs, verifying demographic information, and performing other tasks such as: Accurately scheduling and educating patients about available services Effectively triaging requests and maintaining communication with key interfaces Verifying and updating patient demographic information during each scheduling interaction (address, phone number, insurance details, and any additional insurance policies) Communicating scheduling outcomes with referral sources in alignment with our scheduling policy Adhering to all office and scheduling policies and procedures Locating and interpreting documentation in electronic patient charts Collecting payment information for copayments, private payments, patient balances, and recording payments Addressing patient complaints and concerns, escalating to the Management Team/Clinic Office Managers as needed Completing assigned duties promptly as directed by the Management Team Fostering a collegial and teamwork-oriented attitude with both staff and patients Maintaining the orderly appearance of the office space Providing shift coverage in case of staff shortages Key Attributes of a successful candidate: Strong customer service skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and effective follow-through De-escalation abilities, particularly when handling calls from individuals in crisis Proficient critical thinking skills, enabling creative problem-solving and independent work Openness to receiving feedback constructively and applying it to improve performance
Requirements:
Proficient multitasking abilities, stress management, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills Strong critical thinking capabilities Positive attitude and flexibility Respect for maintaining strict confidentiality of all business information Proficiency in computer usage Availability to work full time with scheduled office hours of 34 hours per week High School Diploma required Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Holiday Time Off, 401k, and Profit Sharing.
