Job Description

We are looking for a welcoming and dependable Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a nonprofit organization in Minnesota. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys assisting visitors, maintaining an organized reception area, and creating a positive first impression for clients accessing on-site services. The person in this role will help guide guests to available resources while providing attentive administrative support throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome clients and visitors as they arrive, offering courteous assistance and directing them to the appropriate resources or staff members.
  • Manage the front desk area to ensure a well-organized and supportive environment for everyone entering the office.
  • Assist individuals who come on site to use shared resources such as computers, office supplies, and other available tools.
  • Answer general questions in person and help connect clients with the services or information they need.
  • Perform routine administrative support tasks that keep daily reception operations running smoothly.
  • Monitor visitor flow and maintain accurate awareness of front desk activity throughout the workday.
  • Coordinate with team members on site to ensure clients receive timely support and a seamless office experience.
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed while adapting quickly to established office procedures and day-to-day needs.
