We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the primary point of contact for our clients, the successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing administrative operations within our fast-paced veterinary facility. This position requires a sincere passion for animal welfare, superior communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. Please note that this is a versatile role; the ideal candidate must be prepared to assist with kennel maintenance, sanitation, and various operational tasks to ensure the clinic functions efficiently. Duties Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and update client information in the system. Process payments and handle medical collections with professionalism. Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations or procedures. Provide information on pet care, including animal husbandry and general health tips. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations. Kennel Duties Experience Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred but not required. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and handling various types of animals is advantageous. Knowledge of pet care practices, including basic animal husbandry, is beneficial. Experience with medical collection processes is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
