The Receptionist uses a wide range of clerical, reception and people skills and is the first point of contact for visiting family members, vendors and guests. The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, answering questions and assisting residents who come to the front desk, as well as additional clerical duties.We require:
High School Diploma or GED 8th grade reading, comprehension, and math skills Prior secretarial / receptionist experience preferred Dedicated to the principle of providing improved quality of life to the elderly Flexible hours General office skills: typing (50wpm), filing, organization, answering telephones Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Ability to perceive and read work situations and act in the best interest of the facility Neat appearance You must also: Must successfully pass the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) criminal background check. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the US. EEOBenefits
