Job Description
Overview Norcon Family Counseling is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This person will help clients feel welcome while supporting the daily operations of our counseling office.
Schedule Monday:
8:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m.Tuesday:
8:45 a.m.-3:00 p.m.Wednesday:
8:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m.Thursday:
11:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.Friday:
8:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m. Applicants must be available for the complete regular schedule and willing to occasionally cover additional shifts when another employee is sick, on vacation, or otherwise absent. Primary Responsibilities Greet and check in clients Answer phones, schedule appointments, and relay messages to therapists Assist with intake paperwork, payments, and basic office tasks Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Maintain accurate records and protect client confidentiality Help keep the reception and shared office areas neat and welcoming through light office upkeep Qualifications The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, dependable, comfortable using computers, and able to manage multiple responsibilities accurately. The candidate must be comfortable working independently during quieter office hours and protecting confidential client information. Previous reception, administrative, medical-office, behavioral-health, or insurance-verification experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 39.0 per weekBenefits:
