Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Do you enjoy helping people and making a difference in their lives? We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist or Administrative Assistant to join our eye care team in Sikeston. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. Your contributions will help us deliver exceptional eye health services aligned with our mission of improving vision for all. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service. Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination. Handle multi-line phone systems and direct calls appropriately. Maintain accurate patient records and perform data entry. Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks. Support office management tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations. Prepare correspondence, proofread documents, and manage filing systems. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all patients. Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role, preferably in healthcare or optometry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, bilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous. Friendly demeanor with a focus on customer service excellence.
