Key Responsibilities:
Greeting parents and directing them to the appropriate person or department with a warm and professional demeanor. Notifying appropriate personnel of visitor arrivals and assist with sign-in procedures. Addressing students' needs (i.e. late notes, early dismissals, minor student injuries, etc.) in a caring manner. Responding to inquiries from visitors, parents, faculty and staff in a timely manner. Answering and routing phone calls professionally. Taking accurate messages and delivering them to the appropriate person or department. Assisting with administrative tasks, such as entering student attendance, keeping track of faculty attendance, and logging student visits to the office. Communicating important updates to faculty and staff. Managing schedules and calendars. Handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area. Coordinating building schedule needs with administrators and facilities manager. Monitoring office supplies and inventories. Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth school-wide operations. Troubleshooting basic technical issues. Maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information. Performing other duties as assigned.Requirements & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent is required Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative, or similar role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and/or Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) Professional appearance and positive, friendly attitude Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers) is a plus Ability to remain calm and effective under pressureHours:
