POSITION OVERVIEW
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a friendly, dependable, and articulate Receptionist to serve as the face and voice of their organization. In this essential role, you will manage front-desk operations, greet arriving guests, handle incoming phone calls, and provide core administrative support. The ideal candidate is welcoming, highly organized, and able to project a polished, professional image to clients, vendors, and visitors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Desk & Visitor Management Greet, welcome, and direct clients, visitors, and vendors as they arrive in a warm and professional manner. Maintain guest sign-in logs, issue visitor badges, and notify internal staff of guest arrivals. Ensure the reception area, lobby, and main conference rooms remain neat, professional, and well-stocked. Communications & Call Handling Answer, screen, and route incoming main-line calls to the appropriate team members or departments promptly. Take clear, accurate messages and handle general phone or email inquiries regarding basic business information. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and deliveries; prepare outgoing shipments and mailings. Administrative & General Office Support Schedule appointments, reserve conference rooms, and assist with calendar management as needed. Perform basic clerical duties, including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and document prep. Monitor front-desk supplies, kitchen essentials, and mailroom stock, submitting reorder requests as required. Assist team members with special projects, meeting setups, or light event coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ years of experience as a receptionist, front-desk coordinator, or customer service representative preferred.
Professional Demeanor:
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a welcoming, customer-focused attitude and a polished appearance.
Communication:
Excellent verbal communication and professional phone etiquette, paired with clear written skills.
Basic Tech Proficiency:
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, basic Excel), and standard office equipment.
Reliability & Organization:
High attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to multitask in a steady front-desk environment.
