Job Description
At Kalispell OB/GYN we are strong advocates for women's health care and strive to provide the best care for women in all stages of life. Our health care team consists of 5 outstanding Providers and an excellent support staff. For our office, we are seeking applicants desiring a position as a Front Desk Coordinator/Receptionist who will greet and welcome patients with a warm and inviting demeanor. The right applicant must be professional, pleasant, compassionate and able to work with a wide array of personnel and patients. This person must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and be able to multi-task. Key Responsibilities include : Check in patients and confirm all paperwork is complete and accurate Scan documents into appropriate location in patient charts Answer multi-line phones, direct calls and take messages Schedule and/or reschedule appointments as needed for patients Check out patients and schedule next appointments Take patient payments Interact with patients positively and professionally by phone and in-person. Create/modify monthly and daily provider schedules in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Conduct confirmation calls for appointments Key Skills required: Use of multi-line phone, computer and other office devices Ability to carry out and give both written and verbal instructions accurately and professionally Ability to problem solve Ability to work collaboratively with providers, nurses and office staff High School diploma or equivalent and/or higher education Medical background, medical terminology and previous experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred, but not required
