Job Description

Job Overview Chapel Hill Pediatric Psychology is a private mental health practice serving the community for over 50 years with services for children to adults. The work environment is fast-paced, supportive and rewarding. It's a place for a team member who wants to help people. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, be a team player, and have a professional demeanor.
Hours:
Monday- Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm,
Fridays:
Off Responsibilities Greet and assist clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system. Schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple therapists in electronic health record (EHR) system . Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, updating documents and scanning. Manage payment collection system. Assist with basic administrative functions using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Outlook. Collaborate with other admin staff to work as a positive, supportive team member. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, adhere to HIPAA regulations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus. Prior office work experience required; receptionist or administrative assistant role strongly preferred. Proficienct computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed. Ability to maintain professionalism and adaptive to changing priorities. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
