part-time Part-Time Receptionist We are partnering with a well-established Charlotte office in the Southpark area to hire a Part-Time Receptionist. As the first point of contact for guests, vendors, and incoming calls, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. Enjoy a convenient location with access to numerous nearby amenities, pay of up to $25 per hour, and a part-time schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Responsibilities:
Greets guests in a warm, professional manner and creates a welcoming environment for all visitors Serves as gatekeeper for the front entrance - verifies visitors, screens unscheduled arrivals, and controls access to office space Answers and directs incoming calls to the appropriate parties Keeps the front desk clean and organized; manages reception displays and camera feed Manages conference room calendars Handles conference room setup and cleanup; assists IT with presentation setup as needed Maintains shared spaces (conference rooms, huddle rooms, break rooms) and coordinates catering and refreshments for meetings Serves as Shipping Manager - processes incoming/outgoing mail and packages, assists with company-wide shipping projects and creates FedEx labels Serves as first contact for office vendors (janitorial, catering, maintenance) Reports any cleaning or facilities issues that do not meet office standards Provides light administrative support during front-desk coverage hours as capacity allows
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a front-desk, reception, hospitality, or customer-facing role Comfortable learning new technology Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) and Adobe Acrobat required Strong verbal communication skills and a polished, welcoming demeanor Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
