All of this work supports the agency mission: Senior PharmAssist promotes healthier living for older adults in Durham by helping them obtain and better manage needed medications and by providing tailored health education, Medicare insurance counseling, community referral, and advocacy. Overview We are seeking a highly personable Temporary Receptionist for the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This role will be be responsible for greeting participants and arranging appointments using an on-line scheduling tool. The contract runs from mid/late Sept to mid-December. Medicare's annual election period (Oct 15 — Dec. 7) is a time when people receive a tremendous amount of mail from companies wanting to sell them insurance. Because of this, we try to call people whom we have seen in the last year to offer an appointment to review their insurance.
