In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and serve as the primary point of contact for pet owners and clients. Your energetic and positive attitude will ensure every visitor feels welcomed and confident in our compassionate care environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated veterinary team committed to animal health and client satisfaction. Duties Greet clients warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in process Schedule appointments efficiently using veterinary software, accommodating urgent cases and routine visits Manage phone inquiries, providing clear information about services, procedures, and clinic policies Assist with animal restraint during examinations or procedures, ensuring safety for animals and staff Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks such as updating patient records, lab documentation, and inventory management Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all client areas adhere to hygiene standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous veterinary, medical, animal-care, or customer-service experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Comfortable handling financial transactions and computer systems. Compassionate and professional when working with clients experiencing stressful situations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn veterinary terminology and practice procedures. Preferred Skills Experience with veterinary practice-management software. Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology. Previous experience in a veterinary hospital or animal-care setting. Experience handling confidential client and medical information.
