Full Job Description Job Description About Advanced Spine & Pain Center:
Serving the community since 2009, Advanced Spine & Pain Center is a solo owned private practice founded by Rachid Idrissi MD, PhD with locations in Clayton, Fuquay-Varina, Benson, Fayetteville, Lillington and Lumberton. We strive at providing outstanding, compassionate, patient- and family-centered care to all.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors to the practice.
- Keep front office area neat and tidy.
- Register patients in the practice management system.
- Collect co-pays and/or balances.
- Covid Screening
- Verifying Insurance
- Balance cash drawer at the end of the day.
- Answer calls on a multi-line system; take messages or transfer calls appropriately.
- Direct visitors (drug reps, salespersons, etc.) appropriately.
- Schedule appointments.
- Scans information into the practice management system.
- Verify insurance.
- Make reminder calls to remind patients of their appointments.
- Responsible for locking up the office and turning on the answering service.
- Provides back up support to medical records custodian and referral coordinator.
- Work with clinical staff to ensure a great customer service experience.
- Report to front office manager.
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a front desk receptionist or satisfactory education in the field.
- Familiarity with office machines (fax, printer, multi-line phone system, etc.)
- Knowledge in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Great customer service.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-work environment as needed.
- Familiarity with health insurance.
