Job Description
Company Overview Carpet One By Henry is a family-owned flooring company offering an extensive selection of carpet, hardwood, laminate, tile, stone, vinyl and custom rugs. We are known for quality products, personalized service and attention to detail. We are looking for a friendly, professional and dependable person to be the welcoming face of our Greensboro showroom. This is a part-time position of up to 15 hours per week , including every Saturday from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM . Starting pay is $13.50-$15.00 per hour, depending on experience . This is an ideal opportunity for a retiree, college student, or anyone looking for a flexible part-time position . Job Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional first impression Collect basic customer information and enter it into our customer database Connect customers with the appropriate salesperson or designer Answer our multi-line phone system promptly and courteously and direct calls as needed Assist customers with basic questions about our products and services Manage front desk responsibilities, including data entry, shredding and appointment scheduling Assist with light administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer systems Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming showroom and reception area Provide friendly, professional customer service throughout the customer's visit What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality and a pleasant speaking voice Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependable and punctual, especially for Saturday hours Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently Previous retail, showroom, receptionist or customer service experience is a plus Interior design, home furnishings or flooring experience is a bonus—but not required If you enjoy meeting people, have a natural gift for making customers feel welcome, and would enjoy working in a beautiful home-design environment, we'd love to meet you!
