Job Description

Overview We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our diverse team as a Veterinary Receptionist . Whether you're experienced or just beginning your journey in animal care, we value your passion and your willingness to learn. You'll be part of a collaborative group working together to ensure the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of our patients—while also helping educate and support our clients. Responsibilities Greet our clients and their pets when they enter the building while assessing their needs. Answer phone calls, text line, and email. Managing appointments, prescription refills and communications between the doctors and our clients. Provide clerical support, get appropriate background information on patient as well as expectations for the visit. Manage prescriptions on our online pharmacy. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the clinic. Communicate clearly and compassionately with both clients and team members. Able to maintain accurate medical records of treatments, observations, and communications. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is appreciated but not required. We are happy to teach and provide hands on learning opportunities. Ability to multitask and work in a team setting. Willingness to care for various species of animals safely, including dogs, cats, and the occasional exotic animal. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their well-being is crucial. Pay:
$10.00 - $18.00 per hour
