Kinston Smiles Family Dental is seeking an experienced, friendly, and dependable Dental Front Desk Administrator to join our growing team. We are a close-knit private dental practice focused on providing excellent patient care in a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is organized, confident communicating with patients, and experienced with dental insurance, scheduling, billing, and collections. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Schedule Monday through Thursday Possibility for half days on Fridays Full-time position Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming front-office experience Answer incoming calls, respond to messages, and assist patients with questions Schedule appointments and maintain a productive provider and hygiene schedule Confirm appointments and help fill cancellations or openings Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Review treatment estimates and explain patient financial responsibilities Collect payments and maintain accurate patient account information Submit and follow up on insurance claims Assist with outstanding insurance claims, denials, and accounts receivable Coordinate treatment scheduling and financial arrangements Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential information Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to support efficient daily operations Qualifications Previous dental front desk experience strongly preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payments Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental office Strong computer and administrative skills Experience with Open Dental is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus What We Offer Supportive and close-knit team environment Consistent weekday schedule Opportunities for professional growth Positive private-practice atmosphere Competitive compensation based on experience
