Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our medical office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment while developing valuable skills.
Duties:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, including responding to patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Manage patient records, including updating patient information in our practice management software
  • Handle all front desk tasks, including check-in and check-out procedures, billing and insurance.
  • Provide administrative support to the medical team, including preparing patient charts and assisting with medical records.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner, including answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Work effectively in a high-pressure environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
  • Experience with phone systems and medical administrative support is also required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity is preferred.
