Job Description
Join Our Exceptional Veterinary Team! We are a busy, well-established private veterinary practice seeking a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our exceptional team. About the Position Our reception team plays an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our clients and ensuring the practice runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy veterinary setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting clients and providing friendly, professional customer service Answering and directing telephone calls and taking accurate messages Scheduling appointments and assisting clients with their questions and needs Checking clients in and out - completeing the approporiate paperwork Processing payments and maintaining accurate daily financial records Filling prescription medications Maintaining and filing patient records and charts Entering and updating patient histories and information in our computer system Keeping the reception desk, lobby, and client areas clean, organized, and welcoming Assisting the veterinary team with general administrative and reception duties as needed Experience with AVImark software is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Provide exceptional client service with a friendly and professional demeanor Work well as part of a team and interact comfortably with clients and the public Be organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Be able to prioritize tasks and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment Be willing to learn and contribute positively to our team Previous veterinary experience is a plus Schedule This is a full-time position with the following schedule: 3 full days: 7:15 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 1 half day: A.M or P.M. depending on hospital needs
Alternating Saturdays:
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Compensation & Requirements Pay is competitive and will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
