Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hotel Indigo. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local area. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts. Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to enhance guest relations. Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner, reflecting the hotel's hospitality standards. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and enhance overall guest experience. Provide concierge services by recommending local attractions, dining options, and activities. Requirements Previous experience in IHG branded hotels or hotel front desk operations is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest accounts and reservations. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
