Paid time off Training & development 401(k) matching The Primrose School of Berkeley Heights is a private preschool that provides a premier educational childcare experience, offering year-round programs for Infants through Kindergarten. We are seeking an afternoon Receptionist to support overall school operations. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm. Primary Responsibilities Greet every family, child, and staff member in a positive and welcoming manner Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner Data entry involving confidential child and family information Supports the Leadership Team in helping schedule appointments and reaching out to prospective families Assists in daily class functions of a group of children upon request and business needs, such as covering classroom breaks when needed Assists in the kitchen and food service program Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Berkeley Heights and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies in the health, safety, and care of children Assists in other capacities that the Director, or designee, determines are necessary Desired Skills & Experience Must meet basic requirements of child care regulatory agency Previous office experience required Previous experience working with children preferred Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situation MLBC2023
