Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a versatile Food Service Professional, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This multifaceted position combines the skills of a pizza maker, line cook, receptionist, and prep cook to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and our guests feel welcomed. You will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, managing customer interactions, and supporting daily operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, poaching and braising tools, and food prep stations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas following food safety procedures Assist with menu planning and food production to meet high-volume demands during busy service times Greet customers warmly at the front desk, handle reservations or orders, and provide excellent customer service Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to proper hygiene practices and dietary restrictions Support catering events or special functions by preparing meals according to specifications and timelines Requirements Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant work, catering, or fine dining environments is highly desirable Demonstrated skills in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills Knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling protocols Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under high-volume production conditions Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in fast-paced settings Dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential This role offers an energetic work environment where your culinary talents will flourish.
