Job Description
Front Desk Coordinator (Korean Speaking Preferred) As the first point of contact for our patients, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional, and exceptional patient experience. We are seeking a polished, friendly, and dependable individual who takes pride in their appearance, communicates confidently, and represents the practice with professionalism and warmth. Because you will be the first person our patients see and interact with, candidates should maintain a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance while providing outstanding customer service in a concierge-style private medical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow. As our practice expands, there will be opportunities to cross-train as a Medical Assistant and assist in the procedure room during ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures. We are looking for a flexible team player who is excited to grow with the practice and take on new responsibilities over time. Korean and English bilingual applicants are preferred but not required. Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors in a warm, courteous, and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries. Check patients in and out efficiently while ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Verify demographic and insurance information and collect required paperwork. Coordinate follow-up appointments, referrals, and patient communications. Assist patients with forms, payments, and general office questions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Communicate effectively with the physician and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Provide interpretation and assistance for Korean-speaking patients when needed (if bilingual). Be flexible and willing to cross-train in front desk operations, medical assisting, and procedure room support as the practice grows. Learn patient intake, rooming, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with clinical workflow. Assist with procedure room setup, patient positioning, and recovery under the physician's supervision when needed. Help create a concierge-style experience where every patient feels welcomed, respected, and cared for from arrival through checkout. Assist with additional administrative and clinical duties as needed to support the continued growth of the practice. Qualifications Friendly, professional, and service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Neat, well-groomed, and professional in appearance, recognizing the importance of making a positive first impression. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills. Comfortable using computers and willing to learn an electronic medical record (EMR) system. Excited to grow professionally and contribute to building a new private interventional pain management practice from the ground up.
