Job Description

Licensed Massage Therapist:
Orthopedic, Deep Tissue & Lymphatic Drainage Capernum Physical Therapy Englewood, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time $30 - $40 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Patient comfort Massage therapy for athletes Massage Therapy License Patient interaction
Orthopedics Licensed Massage Therapist Full Job Description Licensed Massage Therapist:
Orthopedic, Deep Tissue & Lymphatic Drainage Capernum Physical Therapy, Englewood, NJ Part-Time to Full-Time | Starting Monday, Wednesday & Friday | $30-$45/hour + quarterly performance bonuses Not your average massage gig. Capernum Physical Therapy is a growing, physician-referred practice in Englewood. We're looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who's serious about deep tissue and orthopedic work. If you also carry manual lymphatic drainage training, even better. We want someone who treats real conditions alongside a clinical team, not someone running a spa menu. Why this role is different Most LMTs work alone. Here, you're part of the treatment plan. Your patients arrive with a diagnosis, a PT working the same problem down the hall, and a referring physician who wants to know how it's going. On any given week you'll be collaborating with: Physical therapists (that's us) Orthopedic and spine surgeons Pain management physicians Plastic and cosmetic surgeons Oncologists Your caseload is orthopedic: neck and back pain, shoulder and hip restrictions, post-surgical recovery, athletes and desk workers alike. You'll see your work show up in someone's range of motion coming back, their pain scores dropping, and their surgeon asking who did that. Case notes, shared treatment plans, direct lines to the referring doctors. This is massage therapy practiced as medicine. What you bring Current NJ Massage Therapy license Strong deep tissue and therapeutic massage skills, including trigger point, myofascial release, and sports massage A working grasp of orthopedic conditions and the ability to tailor treatment to the patient in front of you Comfort working alongside physicians and PTs and reading a chart Punctual, dependable, and disciplined. Patients are scheduled around you. Excellent bedside manner Manual lymphatic drainage training (Vodder, Leduc, or comparable) is strongly preferred and pays at the top of the range What we offer Start at three days a week (Mon/Wed/Fri) with a clear path to full-time as your caseload builds. Real weekends either way. $30-$45/hour based on experience and specialty training Quarterly bonuses tied to patient outcomes and the referral relationships you build. You're rewarded for being the therapist doctors ask for by name. A referral pipeline built for you, so you treat instead of hustling for clients A small, supportive team that will teach you the clinical side and learn from yours If you've been wanting your massage career to mean more, this is where it does. Apply today.
