$18-$21 per hour About Scura Scura, Wigfield, Heyer, Stevens & Cammarota, LLP is a law firm committed to providing high-quality legal services and exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a professional, dependable, and personable Receptionist to join our team in our Wayne, New Jersey office. Position Overview The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for many of our clients, prospective clients, visitors, and others who interact with the Firm. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, answering and directing incoming telephone calls, welcoming visitors, and helping ensure the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly. The ideal candidate is friendly and professional, communicates clearly, stays organized in a busy environment, and understands the importance of providing excellent service to every person who contacts or visits the Firm. Responsibilities- Answer the Firm's incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally and direct callers to the appropriate individual or department.
- Assist with Firm calendar (court dates, depositions, filing deadlines, etc.)
- Greet clients, prospective clients, vendors, and other visitors and provide a welcoming and professional experience.
- Manage the front desk and reception area throughout the workday.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings as needed.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with outgoing mail and shipments.
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and other staff as needed.
- Assist with scanning, copying, filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain organized and accurate information and records.
- Use Microsoft Office products and other Firm systems to complete assigned work.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding client, employee, and Firm information.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, customer service staff, and other members of the Firm.
- Perform other administrative and office support duties as assigned. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior receptionist, administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is a plus but is not required.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, courteous, and welcoming demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and interruptions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new technology and office systems.
- Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
