full-time Client Overview Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced creative company, is seeking a polished and organized Office Assistant/Receptionist to join their team. This is a collaborative, energetic environment that values professionalism, creativity, and a team-first mentality. Salary/Hourly Rate $23/hr - $25/hr Position Overview The Office Assistant/Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, vendors, and employees while also providing administrative and operational support throughout the office. This is a true hybrid of reception, office coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is polished, personable, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to manage the front desk while balancing multiple office and administrative priorities. Responsibilities Of The Office Assistant/Receptionist Manage the front desk and create a welcoming, professional experience for visitors and guests. Greet and check in clients, candidates, vendors, and delivery personnel. Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and general inquiries. Maintain a polished and organized reception area. Coordinate conference room calendars, reservations, and meeting setup. Prepare meeting rooms and assist with hospitality needs for internal and external meetings. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. Coordinate outgoing shipments, messenger services, and courier requests. Maintain common areas, conference rooms, kitchen/pantry areas, and shared office spaces. Monitor inventory and order office, kitchen, and pantry supplies. Assist with calendars, scheduling, data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and document preparation. Provide general administrative support to various teams and departments. Assist with employee meetings, office events, celebrations, and special projects. Coordinate with building management, vendors, and service providers regarding office needs. Submit and follow up on facilities and maintenance requests. Provide additional administrative and office support as needed. Required Experience/Skills For The Office Assistant/Receptionist Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, office assistant, administrative assistant, or office coordinator role. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Polished and professional communication style. Comfortable serving as the first point of contact for a busy office. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to balance front desk coverage with administrative responsibilities. Proactive, resourceful, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Reliable and comfortable working fully onsite. Preferred Experience/Skills For The Office Assistant/Receptionist Previous experience within a creative, media, fashion, design, advertising, entertainment, or similar environment. Experience coordinating conference rooms, visitors, vendors, meetings, and office supplies. Experience assisting with office events and employee-facing initiatives. Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels, including senior leadership and external guests. Strong interest in working within a creative and collaborative company culture. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
