Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a professional and dependable Admin Receptionist for an on-site contract opportunity in a financial services office in Santa Fe, NM. This Receptionist role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service, and keeping a professional office environment organized and running smoothly. In this position, you will support front desk operations, greet visitors, answer phones, manage basic scheduling needs, and assist with administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity to join a client-focused office environment where professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication are valued. The assignment is currently scheduled for 3 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance. Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and team members in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
- Manage front desk operations, including visitor sign-in procedures, reception area organization, and general office support.
- Schedule appointments, assist with calendar requests, and support daily administrative coordination.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and handling confidential information with discretion. Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate:
$19.50 per hour.Job Type:
Contract/Temporary.Duration:
3 months, with possible extension or conversion based on performance.Schedule:
7:30AM to 4:30PM local time.Location:
On site at 315 Paseo De Peralta, Santa Fe, NM 87501. Required Qualifications and Skills- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and incoming phone calls.
- Support front desk operations, appointment scheduling, calendar requests, mail handling, and general office organization.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Maintain a professional reception area and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months or more of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and with discretion. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a professional office, financial services, banking, insurance, or client-facing administrative environment.
- Experience with appointment scheduling, calendar management, mail distribution, and visitor sign-in procedures.
- Ability to quickly adapt to office procedures and provide reliable support in a fast-paced reception environment.
