Job Description
Front Office Receptionist Slothower Pediatrics is looking for a patient focused Receptionist knowledgeable in appointment scheduling and front office duties. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, must keep up with a robust, fast -paced working environment. The candidate must be flexible, dependable, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to work and learn. Front Office Duties and Responsibilities Serve as first point of contact, liaison between patients and medical staff. Greet patients, answer telephone calls courteously. Schedule well child visits, recheck visits accurately and according to provider guidelines. New Patient data entry Maintains confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, and as appropriate, other information. Other administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements and qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Clean professional appearance with a positive attitude
- Computer knowledgeable
- Team Player
- Medical Terminology and insurance knowledge a plus
- Bilingual a plus Office hours are Monday- Friday 7am to 4pm.
