Job Description

Responsible for reception area. Duties include, but not limited to, greeting and ushering visitors/patients, answering and directing telephone calls, taking messages, setting appointments, etc. Job Responsibility Performs diversified receptionist's duties which may include, but are not limited to: Greeting visitors Answering telephones, taking messages, directing intercom pages, etc. Setting up appointments, bookings, etc. Logging descriptive statistical data pertaining to the department Receives payments and transmits to Accounting Department Miscellaneous duties related to department Performs related duties, as required. ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Prior clerical experience, preferred. Typing 30 wpm and/or data entry skills (80 keystrokes per minute), required. Ability to communicate effectively, required. Ability to deal courteously with patients and families, when required. •
