Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Schedule and confirm appointments. Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for services. Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel. Process patient payments . Utilize ModMed software for patient management and record keeping. Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations within the office. Skills Strong administrative skills with a focus on organization and accuracy. abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Previous experience in a medical office setting is required. Familiarity with ModMed is advantageous. Knowledge of insurance verification processes is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor. Shifts hours Mon-Fri 12pm - close (approx 7:30) Saturdays; 730-close (approx 2:30)
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
