Stan Steele Insurance Agency has been serving individuals, families, and businesses in our community for over 60 years. We are a family-owned independent insurance agency focused on building long-term client relationships and providing excellent customer service in a friendly, supportive environment. We are looking for a professional, organized, and dependable team member to become the first point of contact for our clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service or administrative experience, including professionals returning to the workforce or transitioning into the insurance industry in search of long-term career stability and growth. What You'll Do Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system Greet walk-in clients and create a welcoming first impression Accept and process client payments accurately Manage and organize the agency support email inbox Assist clients with billing questions, claims support, cancellations, and payment follow-up calls Support Customer Service Representatives and office staff with administrative tasks Scan, fax, organize, and manage documents within our agency management system Coordinate office supplies and general front office operations Help problem-solve and guide clients to the appropriate team member when needed What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills Professional and welcoming phone presence Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable using technology and learning new systems Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy office environment Experience with Microsoft Office and general office technology preferred Insurance experience is helpful but not required Willingness to obtain an insurance license after hire (paid training provided) What We Offer Consistent full-time weekday schedule Flexible scheduling options within office hours (examples include 8:00-4:00, 8:30-4:30, or 9:00-5:00) No evenings or weekends Supportive, family-oriented work environment Paid licensing and continuing education PTO and paid holidays
