Job Description
Advanced Care Physical Therapy is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at our Buffalo, NY location. We are looking for someone who is punctual, focused, organized, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with people .Our front desk team plays an important role in creating a positive experience for both our patients and our clinical team. We want someone who is warm and welcoming, communicates well, and understands the importance of being a team player.
About Advanced Care Physical Therapy & Health Plus Management Advanced Care Physical Therapy's administrative team affiliates with Health Plus Management (HPM) , a Physician Support Organization and market leader in clinical practice management within the physical medicine and rehabilitation industry.
HPM supports more than 40 locations across Westchester, NYC, New Jersey, and Upstate New York. HPM provides independent physician practices specializing in musculoskeletal care with professional business development, marketing, and back-office support typically found within much larger organizations. This allows practices to grow while maintaining a strong focus on clinical services and patient care.

happy therapists + happy front desk + happy patients = a win-win-win! Responsibilities The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for helping the office run smoothly and providing excellent service to our patients and clinical team.Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming experience Scheduling and confirming patient appointments Answering phone calls from patients and staff Collecting copays and other patient payments Administering, reviewing, scanning, and organizing patient paperwork Preparing new patient paperwork and assisting patients with completing required forms Reviewing paperwork and assisting patients with understanding their insurance benefits Reconciling the daily cash collection report and mailing checks to our Niagara Falls office as needed Managing transportation arrangements for Medicaid patients through the MAS portal Contacting referral sources to obtain prescriptions, referrals, and, when necessary, MRI results Scanning incoming mail to our main office Preparing necessary paperwork and schedules for the following day Keeping the front desk and work area organized, tidy, and clutter-free Supporting the therapists and clinical team with administrative needs throughout the day While the role involves a variety of responsibilities, we are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable multitasking, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.About Advanced Care Physical Therapy & Health Plus Management Advanced Care Physical Therapy's administrative team affiliates with Health Plus Management (HPM) , a Physician Support Organization and market leader in clinical practice management within the physical medicine and rehabilitation industry.
