Job Description
Open Door NY Home Care is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for caregivers, patients, and visitors while providing administrative support to the HR and Operations departments. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well under pressure, follows established procedures, and can confidently resolve routine issues independently. Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of front desk/reception experience (required) Previous home care experience (required) Experience with HHAeXchange preferred Bilingual English/Spanish (required) Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to multitask and prioritize workload Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Excellent customer service skills Job Responsibilities Greet and assist caregivers, patients, and visitors professionally. Answer and direct incoming calls. Process caregiver applications and onboarding documents. Schedule orientations and appointments. Maintain employee files and documentation. Respond to emails promptly and professionally. Utilize HHAeXchange and other company systems. Perform general administrative and front desk duties. Follow established office procedures without constant supervision. Exercise sound judgment and resolve routine issues independently, escalating only when necessary.
