Job Description
Legal Receptionist Regional law firm with five offices in three states, concentrating in the areas of trusts, estates and elder law, seeks a Front Office Administrator / Legal Receptionist to support the Office Manager, Attorneys and Paralegals in our Pearl River, NY office. This individual will have a professional demeanor, coupled with strong communication skills. Experience working in a legal or professional setting and a bachelor's degree is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) is also required and experience in a Mac office environment is a plus. The individual should have a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality and work style and be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a professional setting. Full-time Salary:
$45-55k/year
Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact with clients and potential clients, including heavy phone and face to face interaction. Maintain general appearance of office including reception area, multiple conference rooms, and bathrooms. Calendar & travel management. Appointment scheduling with clients and business colleagues, including phone, email correspondence, and appointment confirmation. Document management, stocking forms, filing paperwork, retrieving client folders. Correspondence with clients. Mail management, postage & express deliveries. Provide administrative support to executive and departments. Support additional branch offices as necessary. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time. Ability to keep information organized and confidential. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong Organization and Attention to detail.
Additional Compensation:
• 4 weeks paid time off, paid public holidays, 401K with 3% match, company-sponsored healthcare insurance, dental & vision insurance and annual bonus potential.
