Job Description
Overview We are seeking a Part time dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience from the moment they arrive. Your organizational skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication will help maintain smooth office operations and foster a welcoming environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while supporting a vibrant team. Duties Greet patients warmly, direct them appropriately, and manage check-in procedures with professionalism. Part time - 15-25 hours with additional hours available as needed. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments via phone, EHR systems, and in person. Answer calls, schedule new patients, follow up calls and direct calls to the correct department as needed . Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations or referrals as needed. Accurately enter patient information into the EHR and scheduling systems and update patient charts as needed Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, billing, and procedures with a high level of customer service and professionalism. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize wait times. Prepare, scan, and upload medical documents; manage documentation and scanning tasks. Maintain a clean, organized front desk and waiting area, including end-of-day shared cleaning duties. Follow HIPAA guidelines and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
