Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front-desk and administrative operations for a contract assignment in Tonawanda, New York. This in-office role is ideal for someone who is organized, approachable, and confident managing calls, visitors, and routine office tasks in a business casual environment. The position will provide coverage during a leave period for approximately two months, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome visitors, maintain an effective front-desk presence, and direct guests to the appropriate staff members.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly, transferring inquiries, and taking accurate messages when needed.
  • Handle routine administrative support tasks such as organizing correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with general office coordination.
  • Support the Property Manager and staff with day-to-day clerical duties to help keep operations running smoothly.
  • Monitor reception and common office areas to ensure a tidy, organized, and well-maintained environment.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare basic documents, update information, and complete assigned administrative work.
  • Provide dependable in-office coverage during scheduled weekday hours and respond courteously to staff and visitor needs.
