Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support a legal office on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and handles administrative tasks with accuracy. The position focuses on front-desk support, document preparation, and assisting with estate planning and estate settlement matters using established templates and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact for the office with a courteous and attentive approach.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries appropriately, and take clear messages when needed.
- Scan, organize, and file legal and administrative documents to maintain accurate and accessible records.
- Prepare correspondence, assemble binders, and format documents using pre-approved templates and standard office procedures.
- Provide administrative support for estate planning and estate settlement matters by helping maintain organized case materials.
- Handle routine reception and clerical tasks that keep daily office operations running smoothly.
- Ensure documents are prepared with strong attention to detail and completed within established deadlines.
