Receptiohnist/Administrative Assistant (contract)

Contract:
Approximately 6 months Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and professional Receptionist who will also assist with administrative tasks and light housekeeping duties. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, manage office responsibilities, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries Manage office visitors and maintain guest logs Keep the reception area neat and organized Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for office staff
Administrative Duties:
Assist with filing, data entry, and document management Prepare and maintain office documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Excel Support preparation and coordination of office meetings and events Monitor office supply levels and place orders as needed Provide administrative support to other departments as required
Housekeeping Duties:
Ensure common areas (kitchen, break room, lobby) are clean and organized throughout the day Maintain cleanliness in meeting rooms and offices after use Perform light cleaning tasks such as restocking supplies and tidying kitchen areas
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional, friendly, and customer-service-oriented demeanor Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain office cleanliness
Preferred:
Experience with office equipment (printer, copier, etc.) Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Previous experience in a similar environment
Pay:
$18.00
