Maintenance Handyman

Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment Conduct repairs using welding techniques and troubleshoot issues with schematics and technical diagrams Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and repair automated systems when applicable Execute residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and curb appeal Operate tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure all work complies with safety standards Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance tasks across multiple properties or manufacturing sites, ensuring timely completion of projects Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments Proficiency in electrical work, including reading schematics and using testing tools like ohmmeters Skilled in welding techniques for metal repairs and fabrication tasks Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated system troubleshooting Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and facility layouts effectively Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with residents, vendors, or team members Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in maintenance or facilities roles Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping Basic proficiency in English for clear communication and documentation Embark on a fulfilling career where your hands-on skills make a real difference.
