Animal Health Care Center of Chillicothe - Chillicothe, Ohio Animal Health Care Center of Chillicothe is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated and compassionate team! We are a busy, full-service veterinary clinic committed to providing excellent medical care and outstanding client service. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and providing friendly, professional customer service Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting clients with questions Checking clients and patients in and out Processing payments, preparing invoices, and handling account balances Maintaining accurate client and patient records Communicating with clients regarding appointments, medications, and veterinary recommendations Assisting with prescription requests and pharmacy-related questions Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Willingness to be cross trained in other areas such as veterinary assisting and kennel when neededQualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment Comfortable working with computers and learning veterinary practice software Previous veterinary or receptionist experience is preferred but not required Experience and pay will be based on skill level and qualifications.
