We are looking for candidates who excel in customer service and are attentive to the detail in providing support that a law firm requires. Law firm experience preferred but will train the right candidate(s). Normal schedule would be 9 am - 6 pm but we ask for flexibility between the hours of 7:30 am and 6 pm to cover team absences when necessary. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Greet visitors and clients in person and via telephone. Answer multi-line phone system and provide basic information, direct calls to the appropriate party, or take messages as necessary. Maintain clean lobby, conference rooms, and common areas at all times, including restocking refrigerators and loading dishwashers. Coordinate conference room schedules. Stock supplies throughout the office. Manage deliveries and pickups. Process all incoming and outgoing mail, overnight deliveries and shipments. File documents in various local courts.
Administrative assistant tasks:
assist paralegals and legal assistants with overflow projects, such as copying and scanning, preparing binders, opening files, and preparing documents. Closeout and store firm files. Special projects as assigned. Successful candidates will have the following: Professional and welcoming demeanor. Organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Positive, can-do attitude and commitment to excellence. Ability to work as part of a team. Strong sense of urgency working in a fast-paced environment. Interest in working toward legal assistant duties as opportunities arise. Reliable transportation to file documents with courts and execute runs as necessary. Flexible and willing to work overtime if needed. Ability to multi-task throughout the day with high level of efficiency and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft 365 products and Adobe. Must be able to accurately type a minimum of 60 WPM. Minimum of a High School diploma and relevant office experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally for inventory items) and sit for extended periods of time. No phone calls or recruiters please.Job Type:
